Meg and Harri from MerriMaking have a very cool story to tell, read on to discover how two partying friends got their festival wear worn by Ellie Goulding and many other celebs.
The vibrant duo from Brighton used to wear handmade faux fur hoods to festivals and parties to unite their friends. One Summer they headed to the Green Man Festival, on their bikes, with 30 hoods to sell. Not only did these sell out, they even made it on stage with Molotov Jukebox sporting their gear. Fresh out of University, this started MerriMaking.
You only need to visit their Instragram to see the genuine passion for festivals and the wacky outfits that go with it. Meg and Harri have succeeded in capturing happiness with their MerriMaking apparel.
Their collection grew and now includes clothing and fashion accessories, all with their distinctive goodtimes style. Celebrities like Ellie Goulding, Rizzle Kicks, Rudimental singer Anne Marie, Dan Le Sac, and radio personality Zoë Ball have been spotted wearing MerriMaking outfits.
Harri focusses solely on the bum bags designs, while Meg and the rest of the team take care of the remainder of the party wardrobe. They announced last year that the faux fur hoods, which started their journey, might disappear from the line-up soon to make room for new designs. For now, they still stock them, and have found room for new product ranges too.
Vogue, Grazia and countless other fashion authorities have featured their items, often referred to as the perfect festival gear, and even Selfridges in London carried their range.
Get ready for your next party and stand out as the happiest person in the crowd with your MerriMaking outfit.
